The standard Conductive Paint (SC-650CP) adheres to paper, cardboard, PCB, glass, metal, wood, most plastics, and fabric. Adhesion varies by substrate — we recommend a small test patch before committing to a full application. Smooth, non-porous surfaces give the lowest sheet resistance.

All SilexCore products are touch-dry in approximately 30 minutes at room temperature (~70°F / 21°C). Full electrical and mechanical properties develop at 24 hours. You can accelerate curing with gentle heat (150°F / 65°C for 5–10 minutes). Always measure conductivity after full cure for accurate readings.

The standard Conductive Paint (SC-650CP) offers 0.1–0.5 Ω/sq and is ideal for circuit repair, paper circuits, and prototyping. The Premium Conductive Paint (SC-700PCP) is water-resistant after cure, rated for indoor/outdoor use, and delivers up to 54 dB of EMF/EMI attenuation — it's optimized for shielding applications where environmental exposure is a factor.

Yes. SC-650CP is formulated to work with standard screen printing setups. Use a fine mesh screen (typically 86–110 mesh count), flood the screen, and print as you would conductive ink. Consistency across prints is very good. Contact us if you need specific viscosity data for your setup.

Disassemble the remote and locate the worn button contacts — they'll look shiny or flat where the conductive layer has worn off. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol. Apply a small dot of SC-110CS Conductive Silicone to the center of each worn contact. Let cure for 24 hours before reassembling. The silicone restores the conductive bridge between the contact and the PCB pad.

Yes. All SilexCore products are water-based, low-VOC, and formulated without heavy metals. They are used in K-12 STEM programs and university labs. Each product ships with a full Safety Data Sheet (SDS) classified under OSHA / GHS standards. Review the SDS for each product before first use, and ensure adequate ventilation during application.

SDS documents for all four products are available on the Resources page. They are also included digitally with every order confirmation. A printed copy ships with all bulk and institutional orders on request.

No. SilexCore's conductive formulations use nanotechnology-enhanced carbon-based conductors. They do not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, or other heavy metals. See the individual SDS for the complete ingredient disclosure for each product.
